• BIO:
Acoustic blues and roots artists, Don Scott and Rosanne Licciardi perform their unique blend of traditional blues, roots, rock, jazz, country, swing and zydeco tunes, peppered with Scott's original music including commentaries on social injustices plus several sweet-sounding instrumentals. They play unplugged but the energy they bring with a book of over 400 songs has audiences snapping fingers and tapping toes. With guitar, harp, drums and vocals in masterful interplay, they create musical conversations as if they've known each other all their lives.

The couple met in 2012 in their mid-sixties in New Orleans. With 100 years of musicianship between them, Rosanne, a former classical pianist, began drumming with Scott at age 69. He was 67, and a well-known name in the upper Midwest as founder of the legendary Dust Bowl Blues Band, and as a solo performer, sharing the stage with many blues greats during his 50-year career. Nowadays they hit the road for seven months of the year playing around the country plus four months in Mexico playing for a loyal fan base.

Don Scott, singer, songwriter, guitarist, rack harmonica and all-around seasoned blues man has been performing for nearly 50 years throughout the US,the UK, Europe, Asia and Mexico. A Minnesota native and disabled Vietnam vet, over the years he's shared the stage with Lazy Bill Lucas, Mighty Joe Young, The Legendary Blues Band, James Harmon and William Clark to name a few. His musical influences include Sonny Terry, Brownie McGee, T-Bone Walker, Count Basie, Big Bill Broonzy, Etta Baker and Blind Blake Whether in a full band, solo, and now duo with Licciardi on percussion,Scott never disappoints. He has 8 CD's to his credit and a Minnesota music award for best blues recording in 1997 plus an IBC nomination in Memphis for winning the best Blues recording for the Minnesota Blues Society in 2013

Percussionist, Rosanne Licciardi grew up Rochester, NY under the Motown influence of the 60's. She studied and performed classical and jazz piano for 25+ years. She also played bugle in an award-winning competition drum corps. In the 90's, becoming engaged with African and world music, she founded Soiree Africaine, a local club night of drum and dance. She always followed the music spending time in the African discotheques in Montreal and Amsterdam. In 2012, while they were both living in New Orleans, a chance meeting over a James Booker birthday tribute led to a union that has flourished since. She began hand drumming with Scott in 2015 keeping the rhythm with various cajons and cymbals. Every year they tour the US and Mexico where they play standing gigs three nights a week. In 2017, they were well received in Ireland playing gigs in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
