With Don on guitar, national resonator, rack harmonica and vocals, and Rosanne on various cajons, foot bass and highhat, they get a full band sound. Their repertoire includes over 450 songs including 32 originals. As a disabled Vietnam veteran with a passion for justice, his originals include The White Man Still Owns The BIA, Eight Days Of Hell, JP Morgan, and Some Other Day.
Scott was inducted into the Minnesota Blues hall of Fame, October 17, 2021 as Best Performer. He has three cassette recordings with his band, the Dust Bowl Blues Band plus 8 solo CD's to his credit, garnering a Minnesota Music award for best blues recording in 1997, an IBC nomination in Memphis for the best blues recording from the Minnesota Blues Society in 2013. In a career spanning over 50 years, he has shared the stage with Lazy Bill Lucas, Mighty Joe Young, Pinetop Perkins and the Legendary Blues Band, James Harmon, Janiva Magness, Rusty Zinn, William Clarke and countless others. He has toured the country and Europe performing in France, Ireland, Amsterdam, Scotland, England and Mexico.
Percussionist and artist, Rosanne Licciardi was classically trained in piano, played 2nd soprano bugle in an Upstate NY competition drum corps, followed Motown, danced in the African discotheques in Montreal, and promoted African music in her hometown, Rochester, NY. It was always about rhythm. She picked up her first drum, a djembe, at age 69. Moving on, she fashioned her own unique kit of octo- snares, a Flamenco cajon, a highhat and a foot bass, and has been playing and touring with Scott as a duo gig for 11 years. They married in 2014 and call themselves the Blues Nomads.
