About Gabriel Holbrook
Gabriel Holbrook is a 16 year old American guitarist and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. Picking up the guitar at the age of seven, his unique sound, feel, and technical skill have captured the attention of some of the best guitarists in the world, with his online following including the likes of Chris Broderick of In Flames and Megadeth, Aaron Marshall of Intervals, BAXTY, Martin Miller, and Grammy award-winners Larry Mitchell and James “Jimmy T.” Meslin.
Over the years, his playing has been shaped by seminars with Tosin Abasi, Tommy Emmanuel, Steve Vai, Nuno Bettencourt, John Knowles, Guthrie Govan, Jason Richardson, Zakk Wylde, Eric Gales, and John Petrucci, even becoming the first-ever live performance boot camp winner at his Guitar Universe event in 2025.
Gabriel’s debut EP "Chaos Theory" is the first work that showcases his command of the instrument, from lighting-fast chops to melodic clean sections to aggressive riffs and high-intensity impacts. The opening track "Broken Earth" has received accolades from prestigious media outlets such as SPIN Magazine. As Gabriel creates more songs and music for his solo albums, he continues to grow his reputation as one of the most exciting new guitarists on the scene.
