About Ginetta.s Vendetta
This triple-threat female powerhouse, plays pocket trumpet, sings and is an award winning composer from New York City & an alumna of North Texas State University. Just back from yet another massively successful Tour in the central Asia country of Uzbekistan, Ginetta's Vendetta Headlined at the 6th annual Uzbekistan international Jazz festival on International Jazz day!! The band also traveled to the ancient city of Ichan Kala to give yet another sold out concert in addition to playing at the Ambassadors residence in Tashkent. They visited disabled youth, various conservatories, gave seminars, interviews & generally won over yet another part of the world!!!! During the pandemic Ginetta's Live stream show "Cool Jazz from NYC" was a successful show that inspired & connected thousands of people across the world! 2019 was another banner year for her with Ginetta recently finishing her 5th CD as a Bandleader: "Pocketful Of Cool" available on CD baby worldwide!!! Just returned from another Successful "Diplomatic Immunity Tour ll", to the wonderful Republic of Moldova in Eastern Europe where she once again played for the U.S. ambassador & Toured through out the land!!! Her "Build Bridges, Not Walls Tour llI", 2019 through Mexico was a sell out from Mexico City to San Miguel Allende to Ajijic! Plus her debut at The Cayman Island Batabanu Fest 2019 , including a feature spot in the Carnival parade, adds yet another country to her list of conquests!!!! Another successful trip to Omaha at the famous "Loves Jazz Center also had Ginetta teaching 3 music seminars to students from grammar school to college! Her November 2018 "Diplomatic Immunity Tour" with her band "Ginetta's Vendetta (c.) took her to Moscow where she played at the U.S. Embassy for the U.S. Ambassador John Huntsman Jr. & dozens of visiting dignitaries! Her tour continued to the Russian Far East & included headlining at the Vladivostok international Jazz festival, then continuing on to Nahodka, Yuzhno-Sakalinsk, Khabarovsk & beyond. An amazingly successful tour where she was treated like a rock start with television appearances, radio shows, podcasts and interviews with press in many major publications! A super successful "California Adventure" Tour, from Long Beach to the Russian River, culminated in Ginetta's Vendetta at the opening of the San Jose Jazz SummerFest! From the Belleayre Music Festival in upstate New York to the Lexington Market in Baltimore, from a weekly schooner gig on the "Adirondack" to a residency at the Harlem supper club, Farafina, from the Loves Jazz & Art center in Omaha to the Jersey City summer concert series, from the Jefferey Dinowitz Summer Concerts to the Hamptons & beyond Ginetta M. is gaining new fans all across the country!!!! The recording of her most recent and 4th CD "Little Big Horn" bandleader Ginetta M. continues to break new ground with her original arrangements of the classics. She has also played in numerous festivals including the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta, the Prishtina Jazz Festival in Kosovo, the St. John Blues Festival in the U.S. Virgin Islands, her annual tour thru Jalisco Mexico (from Guadalajara to San Miguel Allende) the Gainesville Jazz Festival in Florida and a bi-annual appearance at the Ocho Rios International Jazz Festival in Jamaica. She has won numerous awards for composition & is one of the busiest bandleaders in NYC! Known internationally as "The Pocket Miles" Ginetta M. is on track to limitless musical opportunities!!
