About Trent Hughes
Singer-songwriter Trent Hughes was born and raised in Colorado and calls Windsor, Colorado home.
The 25-year-old embraces new original country music while honoring the past. A typical show of Hughes’ can include three-chord country, southern rock with hints of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, and other rock classics. However, Hughes is just as comfortable alone with his guitar as he is performing a high-energy full band set and is quickly becoming known for his hard-edge country style.
From early on in his lifetime, Trent had a passion for music and would listen and sing along to the radio every chance he had. Starting guitar at age eleven, Trent realized his desire to play to a crowd and write his own songs. He started his first band at age fourteen and has been playing to larger and larger crowds ever since.
Hughes’ passion to pursue a musical journey began in November of 2013 when prior to the CMA Awards when he was invited to perform at “The Stage”, one of Nashville’s premier venues on Broadway. Hughes recalls, “There were musicians that played for Tyler Farr, Jerrod Niemann, and Josh Turner all onstage, and it was so crazy seeing how talented they all were.”
Trent and his band are performing songs off his 1st album in 2024. The release of this compilation of songs has been in the works for 3 years and was engineered and produced by “Grammy Award” winner John Macy.
