This article discusses cast members in the new JOKER: Folie a Deux Cast.
Arthur Fleck will return in Joker: Folie à Deux, and he will bring with him a whole new ensemble. Todd Phillips's 2019 movie Joker was arguably the year's biggest lightning rod in cinemas, with significant pre-release debate that the movie's story of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) transforming into the Joker could inspire a new legion of mass shooters. Despite this, Joker became one of 2019's biggest movies, earning over $1 billion worldwide with Phoenix's performance as Fleck being particularly well-received.

Robbie Amell, Stephen Amell Raise $1.7 Million for ‘Code 8’ Movie
(external link)
Robbie Amell and his cousin Stephen Amell have raised $1,722,409 from 20,201 backers on crowdfunding site Indiegogo for their sci-fi feature “Code 8.”
Indiegogo asserted that “Code 8” is the highest-crowdfunded film of 2016 on any platform. The 30-day campaign, which closed over the weekend, had an original goal of $200,000.
“Instead of being billionaire superheroes, most ‘specials’ live in poverty and resort to crime, forcing the police to become more militarized,” the synopsis said. “The story follows a young man with special powers (Robbie Amell) struggling to find work as a day laborer. After a dispute over payment, he finds himself in a confrontation with a police officer (Sung Kang) and the autonomous robots backing him up.”
The campaign included the release of a ten-minute short film, directed by Jeff Chan from a script he co-wrote with Chris Pare.
“Code 8” will be shot in Los Angeles early next year and will also star Stephen Amell, Aaron Abrams, Chad Donella (“Scandal”) and Alfred Rubin Thompson.

Alfred Rubin Thompson talks about his new HBO film 'Hemingway and Gellhorn'
By Gyra Chan, 5/16/2011
If you have ever found yourself interested in HBO movies, great acting, or Ernest Hemingway, get ready for the new HBO filmHemingway and Gellhorn slated for a 2012 premiere featuring Clive Owen, Nicole Kidman, and my new personal favorite, Alfred Rubin Thompson.
Having seen Alfred Thompson as a gangster rap producer in his debut film, Decisions and in an episode of The Office with Will Ferrell, I was thrilled to catch up with Mr. Thompson about his new role in the HBO film premiering in 2012. After I was able to get over the initial shock of his trademark rich baritone voice, he told me about his experience filming Hemingway and Gellhorn in San Francisco.
“I’ve been working on the HBO film Hemingway and Gellhorn. It’s the story about the writer, Hemingway. The film takes place back in 1936,” he said. “I play the character Skinner who is the co-stars with Clive Own and Nicole Kidman. My character owns a bar named “Sloppy Joe’s" back in 1936. It’s where everybody meets, it’s where everybody drinks, its where the fishermen are, and it’s where Hemingway writes most of his memoirs before traveling.”
As a native New Yorker, San Francisco certainly provided him with a much different environment for filming. All you see in New York is “streets and buildings,” he said. California was quite a change from his hometown, but regardless of the backdrop, whether in New York or California, Thompson loves the experience and energy of filming.
Not only did he have a great experience filming with HBO, he also got to know some pretty important household names in Hollywood.
“Working with famous power house actors Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman was a great experience for me,” he said. “The workmanship was great. They were very supportive. Nicole Kidman just has a glow about her; she is just so joyful. You learn a lot from talent when you’re a talent so it makes you better as a person.”
He went on to talk about how he really felt like a welcomed member of a very supportive team. Luckily, that teamwork really paid off during filming.
After hearing about his experience, I absolutely cannot wait to see the HBO film Hemingway and Gellhorn when it comes out.
As a man who has really proven his talent in acting, voiceover, music , and recently entrepreneurship, Alfred Thompson is an absolute pleasure to talk to. He really sees his career and the opportunities he has had as a true blessing.
He wouldn’t give me too many details, but Thompson is working on a few new things and we are excited to see and hear more about him in the near future!
